Celebrating Educator's Week with Anne Beers Elementary & Our Friends at &pizza

At Capital City, community is at the heart of everything we do. This Educators Week, we had the incredible honor of partnering with Anne Beers Elementary School in Southeast D.C. and our longtime friends at &pizza to show appreciation for the dedicated educators who pour their hearts into shaping the next generation.

Under the leadership of Principal Kennard Branch, Anne Beers is more than just a school—it’s a vibrant hub of inspiration, care, and excellence. To celebrate the hardworking staff, Capital City created over 90 thoughtfully curated gift bags filled with Capital City goodies, including mambo sauce, T-shirts, journals, mugs, keychains, and more.

&pizza also stepped up in a major way, donating 60 piping-hot pizzas to treat the entire faculty and staff. It was a celebration of gratitude, community, and connection—and one small way to say “thank you” to the everyday heroes in our schools.
